I Appreciated my Wife’s Cooking by Giving her 15k to Pamper Herself, but She Used it to Get Educational Materials for our Kids – Nigerian Man


 A Nigerian man has narrated how he showed appreciation to is wife for cooking a nice meal, and the interesting action she took afterwards.


According to the man with Twitter username @john_d_doe, his wife prepared a delicious soup which he liked, so he gave her 15k in appreciation, and said that she can use it for whatever she wanted.


Rather than go buy something nice for herself, the wife used the money to buy a study table and chair and a board for their children to be using for leaning purposes at home.

However, the man concluded that he now owes her 15k being that she used his monetary gift for the children.


In his words; ”My wife made sweet soup for me yday. Today, I gave her 15k to get herself whatever she likes.


She drove out with kids. When they returned, I asked if she enjoyed her treat?


No, she used the money to purchase a study table, chairs & board for the kids.


I’m still owing her 15k.”
