Multi award-winning Nigerian musician, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido, has opened up on how his 2020 hit song, FEM, almost got him into trouble during the #EndSARS protest. Speaking in a recent interview with L’officiel, a French fashion magazine, the superstar singer revealed that the song which is the lead single off his 2020 ‘A Better Time’ album, gained attention when it was played at a protest rally to interrupt a government official that was addressing the protesters.  Convicted Nigerian fraudster, Obinwanne Okeke alias Invictus Obi, says it is an insult to compare him with suspected cyber-fraudster, Ramon ”Hushpuppi” Abass, Yahoo News reports. Invictus, who is currently serving a 10-year sentence in a US prison for $11m fraud, said while he took to fraud in order to empower the less fortunate in Nigeria, Hushpuppi defrauded people in order to show off on social media. While Invictus has been convicted, Hushpuppi is currently facing criminal charges money laundering. Responding to a question on his similarity with Hushpuppi, Invictus said, “It’s insulting. Unknown gunmen have killed Dr Chike Akunyili, husband of late former Director-General of NAFDAC, Prof Dora Akunyili. It was gathered that Akunyili, a medical doctor was killed on Tuesday at Umuoji in Idemili North LGA of Anambra State. He was said to have been killed alongside his driver and police escort. According to reports, he had on Tuesday attended a lecture at Sharon Hall, All Saints Cathedral, Onitsha, which was organized by the University of Nigeria Nsukka Alumni Association (UNAA), Onitsha branch, in honour of his late wife, Prof Dora Akunyili. Reports gathered that the lady who was seen wearing a white singlet, called the cobler to help her repair her shoes, but as soon as the cobler approached her, she fell in love.
