Drama as Frustrated Driver $trips, Lies under LASTMA Vehicle to Evade Arrest

 


There was a mildly dramatic scene on Thursday in Ikeja, Lagos state as a commercial driver stripped off his clothes and lay under a truck of the Lagos State Transportation Authority, LASTMA to avoid being arrested.


The driver claimed that officials of Lagos State Transportation Authority “made his life very frustrating.”


The frustrated driver, who remained unclad under the vehicle told LASTMA officials to kill him instead of arresting him.


He added that he was also arrested yesterday and was unable to remit money to the car owner.




Residents gathered and begged him to put on some clothes and exit from under the vehicle, but he refused.

Comparing Me to Hushpuppi is an Insult – Invictus Obi

 Convicted Nigerian fraudster, Obinwanne Okeke alias Invictus Obi, says it is an insult to compare him with suspected cyber-fraudster, Ramon ”Hushpuppi” Abass, Yahoo News reports. Invictus, who is currently serving a 10-year sentence in a US prison for $11m fraud, said while he took to fraud in order to empower the less fortunate in Nigeria, Hushpuppi defrauded people in order to show off on social media. While Invictus has been convicted, Hushpuppi is currently facing criminal charges money laundering. Responding to a question on his similarity with Hushpuppi, Invictus said, “It’s insulting.
