Man narrates how police asked him to pay N300k for them to arrest fraudsters who scammed him of N270k

 


A Nigerian man, Eyo Emmanuel has shared the experience he had with police officers after he reported a case of fraud to them.

He said that some scammers defrauded him of the sum of N270,000 and he was able to successfully trace them.

Eyo then reported his findings to police officers for them to go and arrest the suspects, but they requested N300,000 to be able to ”fund the operation.”

The young man shared the story on Twitter, as he noted that there is a need fo a total overhaul in the country.

He tweeted; ”I successfully traced the two guys that scammed me of 270k, now it’s left for the police to move in and they’re telling me to pay 300k to fund the operation

We need to restart this country.”
