D’Banj is the First Person who Saw a Potential to be Great in Me – Don Jazzy (Video)

Nigerian music producer, Don Jazzy has said that his former partner, D’Banj is the first person who really believed that he had the potential to be great.


In an interview with veteran broadcaster, Adesope Olajide, the Mavin Records boss said that D’Banj’s believe in him, sparked the Don Jazzy that many see and know today.

He also talked about how the label Mavin has performed within ten years and his relationship with D’Banj, Wande Coal and his brother D’Prince.

Don Jazzy further spoke about the music industry challenges and what Mavin looked for in international partnerships beyond financials alone.

 Convicted Nigerian fraudster, Obinwanne Okeke alias Invictus Obi, says it is an insult to compare him with suspected cyber-fraudster, Ramon ”Hushpuppi” Abass, Yahoo News reports. Invictus, who is currently serving a 10-year sentence in a US prison for $11m fraud, said while he took to fraud in order to empower the less fortunate in Nigeria, Hushpuppi defrauded people in order to show off on social media. While Invictus has been convicted, Hushpuppi is currently facing criminal charges money laundering. Responding to a question on his similarity with Hushpuppi, Invictus said, “It’s insulting.
